A little about "Mr. Mitchell":  I received my bachelor’s degree from UT Arlington and my master’s degree from Sam Houston State, graduating with distinction.  I worked as a Substitute Teacher for Klein ISD for two years and Tomball ISD for seven years (mostly at Willow Wood) before getting my teaching certificate in Cy-Fair ISD in 2015.  I no longer teach full time.  However, I sub almost every day, and I am available for long term assignments.  I am certified Generalist, Math 4-8, Special Education EC-12, Business and Finance 6-12, Gifted and Talented Supplemental, and ESL Supplemental.  Use the QR code on the right for my contact information.

I work for one reason and one reason only:  It's all about the kids.  Being able to see them learn, grow, mature, and become successful in life, from 7th grade through high school (I go to TMHS occasionally), has been one of the high points of my life.  I laugh when they laugh, I hurt when they hurt, I cry when they cry.  I am proud of their achievements and I agonize over their failures.  I have been blessed to have two children, six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren (so far!).  I love them all dearly.  They are a part of my heart forever.  And so are my babies at school.  Each and every one will be a part of my heart forever.

For me, it has been a privilege and a blessing to have worked in Tomball ISD, and at Willow Wood in particular.  The teachers, the staff, and the kids have given far more to me than I could ever have given to them.  My life has been enriched beyond measure.  This is, without a doubt, the best job in the world!  Disneyland - "The Happiest Place On Earth".
