The Willow Wood Band Program
Among the largest secondary fine arts programs in Tomball ISD, the Willow Wood Band cluster is comprised of just under 500 students in grades 6-8 at Willow Wood JHS and its feeders, Northpointe IS and Oakcrest IS. Members begin their band experience in the 6th grade where they are divided into like-instrument classes. T
Seventh and eighth grade members participate in one of five performing bands at Willow Wood JHS. Each band performs in several concerts throughout the year. The Honor, Symphonic, and Concert I Bands participate in UIL competition and at least one other major contest or festival. The Concert II Band, a new ensemble for 2017-2018, will participate in at least one contest or festival.
