About Me

This is my 13th year of teaching, all of which have been at WWJHS. I graduated from University of Houston with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Accountancy. I was formerly a Tax Accountant where I worked for local accounting firms and large corporations. I bring real business world experience to the classroom for the benefit of all my students. I really love teaching and hope to do this for many years to come.

My Mission

To teach my students business world skills that they will need to be successful in their future careers.

The Final Exam for Dollars and Sense will be on May 22nd during class.  We will be working on the review for the final starting this week due to STAAR testing.  After completion of the final exam, students will be taking the Financial Literacy Precision Exam.  They can earn a Certificate to be used for their college applications upon earning a passing score.  Students will only receive one copy of their Certificate so please keep it in a safe place.  Thanks for all your support this semester and good luck to all of my students.

Make Up Work Policy for 2017/2018

As we start the new semester, I wanted to inform parents and students of the CTE department make up work policy. It is the student's responsibility to obtain their make-up work from their teachers. They will have one day for every day they are absent to make up their work.  Students will not be allowed to make up their work several days after their absences.  Please remind your student to ask his/her teachers at the beginning of class for their assignments.  Thank you for your help with this matter.
