Counselor
Beth Pitts
Beth Pitts has been a counselor in Tomball ISD since 2006. She has served as counselor at the elementary level (Decker Prairie Elementary – 8 years) and at the intermediate level (Northpointe Intermediate – 6 years). Mrs. Pitts joined the WWJH counseling staff in 2020.
Mrs. Pitts received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin at Superior in 1997. In May of 2007, she received a Master of Education in Counseling degree from Sam Houston State University. Mrs. Pitts has held a LPC license (Licensed Professional Counselor) since 2012.
Beth Pitts and her husband have 2 grown children and she is the proud “Mimi” of three grandchildren. The overarching goal as a counseling team at Willow Wood Junior High is to work in partnership with parents, staff, and the community to minister to the social, emotional, physical, and educational needs of the Willow Wood Junior High family.
Nancia King
Nancia King has been a middle school counselor for 8 years. She started her counseling career in Aldine ISD and then continued with Cypress- Fairbanks ISD. Prior to becoming a counselor she taught Language Arts to grades 6th, 7th, and 8th in Aldine ISD. Mrs. King joined the WWJH Counseling Team in 2022.
Mrs. King received a Bachelor Degree of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Prairie View A&M University in 2009. In May of 2014, she received a Master of Education in counseling degree from the University of St. Thomas. Mrs. King currently holds a LPC-A license (Licensed Professional Counselor Associate) and is currently in training to become a RPT (Registered Play Therapist).
Mrs. King and her husband have two boys whom they love and cherish. Mrs. King enjoys being a soccer and basketball mom during the fall and spring seasons. She also enjoys spending her time singing, reading, writing, and listening to music!
