Counselor, 7th Grade
Willow Wood Junior High

I’m thrilled to begin this school year with WWJH 7th graders as they embark on two of the most pivotal years in their young lives. It is my honor to serve as their counselor for both 7th and 8th grade, walking alongside them as they grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

This year marks my 20th in Tomball ISD, where I’ve had the privilege of serving students and families across all grade levels. I served eight years at Decker Prairie Elementary, followed by six wonderful years at Northpointe Intermediate. In 2020, I joined the counseling team at Willow Wood Junior High, and it’s been a joy to be part of this incredible campus community.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Master of Education in Counseling, and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). My husband and I are proud parents of two grown children, and I’m lovingly known as “Mimi” to four energetic and amazing grandchildren.

Above all, my mission as a counselor is to build strong partnerships with parents, staff, and the community to meet the social, emotional, physical, and educational needs of the Willow Wood Junior High family. I believe in ministering to the whole child and creating a safe, supportive space where students can thrive. I look forward to our journey together at WWJH.

Counselor, 8th Grade
Willow Wood Junior High

I’m excited to join Willow Wood Junior High as the 8th Grade Counselor for the 2025-2026 school year! I’ve had the privilege of serving as a counselor across many stages—from intermediate school to middle school and even college. As a proud Tomball graduate, returning to serve the very community that shaped me is both meaningful and deeply rewarding.

At WWJH, my mission is to empower students through our counseling program that nurtures academic achievement, strengthens social-emotional wellness, and prepares them for future career success and lifelong learning. I'm dedicated to fostering an environment where every student feels supported, seen, and valued.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Sam Houston State University and a Master of Education in Counseling from the University of Houston, along with a School Counseling Certification (EC–12). My husband and I are proud parents to three amazing kids—from elementary to college—and we share our home with our lovable Labrador, Rookie.

As a counselor, I value strong partnerships with students, families, and staff. Together, we can create a school environment where every student thrives. I’m honored to be part of the incredible WWJH team and can’t wait for the amazing year ahead!
